which regiment am i applying as colonel for: russian army
am i active on the forums: not really with only this post but i plan to be, plus since this is a veritably new forum i dont believe anyone is particularly active
am i active in discord: yes, im available even when not playing and can always be reached.
do i have a working microphone: yes, and i use it all the time.
Explain the following phrases:
RDM: random death match, engaging a target for no good reason
Metagaming: abusing knowledge that you character would not have access to to gain an advantage in game
FearRP: failing to yield or surrender when outgunned or outnumbered, thus ignoring the emotion of fear in roleplay
FailRP: breaking roleplay via RDM, Metagame, Fear rp, or through other means like trolling, mic spam or minge
Powergaming: manipulating rank or promise of promotion, reward or other such abuse of power in a way that negitively affects the playerbase
Breaking NLR: returning to a combat zone where you have died in order to kill or abuse knowledge your character would not have, in most servers returning to the area you died in within three minuets is nlr abuse.
Will you be sufficiently active: i will be active from 4pm on week days and all day on weekends
do you agree with unbiased leading: absolutely, it is essential for good player interaction
will you show respect to others in the community: absolutely, respect is a key part in the ability to lead
how will you keep the regiment active: i will run constant trainings and exercises aswell as a constant stream of patrols and missions if possible.
why do you want to lead this particular regiment: i have consistently played the side viewed as OPFOR on servers, i have thousands of hours on RRP as an insurgent leader and as a general on two factions, both of them are active and prosperous. since ive been invited to the server by patrik i thought id give it a try and i woudl love to set a good example as a primary figure in the community.
Have i ever lead a regiment on any other MRP servers: i have, i have lead RRS (rebel recruit squad) and the royal marines on RRP being a general in one and a high ranking officer in the other, i have also commanded RAF forces as a Wo1 and the entente powers as a major on inferno networks mrp server.
Do i have knowledge of the regiment im applying to: i do indeed, the russian army is the military force that drives russia, its been active in the balkans, ukraine, syria and many more modern conflicts, their predecesor was the red army of soviet origins and they have carried over many combat roles and tactics.
Character backstory: Prapor ilianovich was 15 when the soviet union fell, his father who was in the military at the time returned from deployment while the states arranged their seperation from russia, he saw the newly independant georgia as a false state, he swore it was rightfully russian soil. his father instilled military routine and logic into him at a younger age than most learn to read so he was entirely prepared to join the military as soon as posible, at 18 he joined the 13th vympel logistics regiment and worked his way up the command heirarchy, to a position that allowed him sway over which warzone he fought in, prapor vied for action against georgia, and begged command to be deployed to its fronts. However, moscow had different plans for prapor, he was redeployed to a new front to oversee the russian armys operations and manouvers against an increasingly militaristic and agressive US, he still dreams of taking georgia, but for now that dream must be overlooked for the beterment of russia.
